Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at SSM Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing expert care to patients with respiratory conditions. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patients for appropriate treatment, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.

• Evaluate Patients: Assess patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis.
• Administer Respiratory Therapeutic Services: Provide prescribed respiratory therapeutic services, including oxygen therapy, inhalation treatments, and ventilation support.
• Implement and Monitor Patient Care Plans: Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that all necessary equipment and medications are available.
• Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other respiratory therapists.

• Education: Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent years of experience and education.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), and state-specific licenses/certifications.

This role will be based in various locations, including Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to medical emergencies as needed.

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid parental leave, flexible payment options, and upfront tuition coverage.
