Job Title: Certified Psychological Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Psychological Assistant to join our team at Grundy County Board of Education.

Job Summary:

The Certified Psychological Assistant will provide direct care to patients of Athena by providing psychological assessments using appropriate clinical knowledge and adherence to Company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Score behavioral rating scales
  • Complete classroom and intervention observations for students
  • Administer standardized individually-administered achievement tests
  • Enter assessments/evaluation scores on TN Pulse, including uploading of final reports
  • Attend meetings along with the school psychologist
  • Write psychological reports, with review and signing off as the school psychologist
  • Be regular and punctual in attendance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in School Psychology
  • CPA license issued by the state

Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds

  • Frequent travel to the district's schools is required
  • Regular contact with administrators and staff members is required
  • Must possess effective communication skills
