Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Breakfast Server to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Baton Rouge. As a Breakfast Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving breakfast in a clean and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare breakfast bar for hotel guests, including setting up the buffet and displaying food and beverages in an attractive manner.
  • Check the buffet line frequently and replenish food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the buffet area throughout the morning, including reorganizing and tidying the food area as necessary.
  • Properly dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins, and cups, and remove and dispose of leftover food at the end of the breakfast shift.
  • Clean the buffet area according to established standards and ensure inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day's shift.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a current Food Handler's certificate or ServSafe certification. You will also be required to stand for extended periods, walk, push, bend, and reach, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The work environment is usually moderate, with occasional noise from the hotel.
