Wound Care Physician

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team in providing high-quality wound care and hyperbaric medicine services. As a Physician, you will be responsible for delivering direct medical care to patients in an outpatient setting, including timely and appropriate interviewing, examination, intervention, patient education, and comprehensive coordination of care.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where the physician delivers wound care and hyperbaric medicine therapy.
- Be specifically privileged to practice wound care and clinical hyperbaric medicine in the sponsoring medical institution(s) under the process delineated by the institution's privileging or credentials committee.
- Assist in the day-to-day supervision and coordination of the wound care and hyperbaric staff.
- Consult, examine, select, and manage patients who could benefit from wound care and/or hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
- Keep complete and accurate records pertaining to the indications, rationale, and progress of patient treatments.
- Certified M.D. or D.O. possessing a valid diploma from an accredited medical school.
- Licensed to practice in the appropriate State.
- Board certified or board eligible in a recognized medical or surgical specialty.
- 3+ years' experience in wound care. Hyperbaric medicine experience highly desirable.
