Mental Health Therapist for Homeless Individuals

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Health Care for the Homeless. As a Clinical Counselor, you will work with individuals experiencing homelessness, providing treatment services and assessments to support their overall health.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Behavioral Health Assessments and Interventions: You will conduct behavioral health assessments and interventions to support clients' overall health, using a client-centered approach.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: You will work closely with other providers in an integrated care team, attending meetings and collaborating on client care.
- Develop Integrated Treatment Plans: You will involve clients in the development of integrated treatment plans using SMART goals.
- Crisis Intervention and Support: You will provide crisis intervention services to clients, including emergency petitions, and facilitate psycho-educational groups as needed.
- Model Core Values: You will model and reinforce the core values of dignity, authenticity, hope, justice, passion, and balance.
- Participate in Performance Improvement: You will actively participate in performance improvement activities that support the mission of Health Care for the Homeless.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling: You must have a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.
- Licensed Professional: You must be licensed as an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, or LCPC.
- Experience Working with Homeless Populations: You will have a minimum of two years of experience providing behavioral health services to individuals with dual-diagnoses, preferably in a community or public health setting.

Salary and Benefits:The estimated salary range for this position is $72,000 - $76,000 annually, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
