About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our Millennial Management LLC team in Maryland. This role offers a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $21.00 per hour and opportunities for career advancement.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to workplace safety and be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects as necessary.

The role involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner, and working closely with the inventory team to maintain accurate records of material movement and location.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, maintaining awareness of your surroundings and preventing accidents or mishandling of materials.
  2. Manage Inventory: Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain accurate records of material movement and location, and perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  3. Develop Skills: Continuously develop your forklift operation skills and expand your knowledge of warehouse procedures, participating in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on safety practices and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
  • Certified Forklift Operator: Possess a valid forklift operator's certification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects as necessary.
  • Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to workplace safety and awareness.
  • Detail-Oriented: Maintain keen attention to detail when handling materials.
  • Team Player: Exhibit excellent teamwork and communication skills.
