Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Central Texas. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced respiratory services to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and emergency respiratory care to patients, including medication administration, arterial puncture, and oxygen therapy.
  • Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, endotracheal intubation, and airway care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor and maintain patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
