Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN to join our Intensive Care Unit ICU team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a Registered Nurse RN in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • One (1) or more years of recent clinical experience as a RN in an ICU setting.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support BLS certification.
