This position offers a unique opportunity to work as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic with Geisinger's Life Flight program. You will be part of a highly skilled team providing critical care transport services to patients across the region. As a flight crew member, you will assist the pilot and collaborate with the Flight Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provides critical care transport paramedic level care until patient care is relinquished to an accepting medical facility
• Maintains accurate patient care documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adheres to the paramedic scope of practice as defined by a medical command physician or under written guidelines of regional protocols
• Participates in ongoing education and competency assessments to stay up-to-date on knowledge and psychomotor skills
• Collaborates with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care
