Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Veteran Hospice Volunteers at AdvisaCare Home Health and Hospice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide emotional support and care to patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.

About the Role

This is an unpaid volunteer position, requiring approximately 2 hours of commitment per week. As a Volunteer Hospice Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients and their loved ones.

Responsibilities may include one-on-one visits with patients and their families, administrative tasks, and providing emotional support to the nursing staff.

Estimated Salary Range:

$15-$20 per hour (dependent on location and experience)

Requirements
  • Must be a Veteran or caregiver
  • Able to commit 2 hours per week
