Make a Difference in Patient Care

As a Clinical Pharmacist with Main Line Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the healthcare team by providing expert drug information and guidance. Your leadership skills will be utilized to implement and sustain ongoing services related to clinical drug use and quality assurance. You will also assist in coordinating the development and restructuring of the professional practice of pharmacy within MLHS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide drug information and guidance to healthcare teams
  • Implement and sustain ongoing services related to clinical drug use and quality assurance
  • Assist in coordinating the development and restructuring of the professional practice of pharmacy
  • Interpret and evaluate medication orders for patients
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to optimize drug therapy

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience with a Pharm.D. degree
  • Experience with IV admixtures, automated distribution functions, and clinical counseling
  • Satisfactory completion of two of the following: drug information newsletter article, P&T drug monograph, formulary class review, clerkship preceptorship, drug information lecture, or another equivalent project
  • Good to excellent record in organization, accuracy, quality, and quantity of work and attendance
Education and Licensure:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy required
  • Clinical clerkships, residencies, and specialties in hospital-oriented environments preferred
  • A current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required
