Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Deckers Brands. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification, and repair activities in assigned maintenance operational areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Work with AC/DC controls, PLC-controlled equipment, pneumatics, and voltage up to 480 volts.
  • Manage minor projects and provide training to lower-grade levels.
  • Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, and others.
Requirements
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • 6-8 years of industrial maintenance experience with conveyors, controls, and operating systems of a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.
  • Experience working around pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills, and industrial electrical systems.
Competencies
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC, and DC.
  • Proven track record of strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Automatic Identification systems (Laser Scanning Devices).
Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work activities are subject to a significant volume change due to the business' seasonal nature.
