We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Rich Products Corporation. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Ship, receive, and transport packaging, ingredients, and finished goods for the facility.
- Observe and enforce all safety rules and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and material handling.
- Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices, maintaining an orderly and clean work area.
- Inspect and maintain forklifts, verifying all deliveries and discrepancies by physically counting and comparing the amount printed on delivery receipts.
- Enter necessary documentation of delivery receipts or material handling into the company's computer system.
- Organize and rotate old materials with new, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace.
- Perform all other warehouse and freezer duties, including assisting management with inventory balances through physical cycle counts.
- Label open or partial ingredients and packaging, and check production schedules daily to stage packaging and ingredients as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Basic math and computer skills are necessary.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and lift 50 pounds.
- Regularly stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility, with vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Hearing ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.
