About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Clerk to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a Deli Clerk, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, preparing fresh and healthy food options, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals, sandwiches, and salads to order
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on products
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Operate a slicer, wrapping and cooking equipment, and assist in maintaining all equipment in safe working condition
  • Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and rotating products
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Food safety certification and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
