Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research in emergency nursing, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut.
- BSN degree required; ASN/ADN RNs with relevant experience may be considered.
- Previous acute care RN experience preferred, but new graduate RNs who are passionate about Emergency Medicine are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
- BLS certification by American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
