Wireless Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Engineer to join our team at Tech Providers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement wireless networks and systems using LTE/UMTS/CDMA/EvDO technologies.
  • Work with the Ericsson OSS platform to retrieve and modify parameters, monitor alarms, and analyze performance.
  • Implement VoLTE and its associated parameters and settings.
  • Collect and analyze data using drive test tools such as NEMO, XCAL, TEMS, etc.
  • Use data processing tools such as Actix Analyzer, Windcatcher, XCAL, TEMS, etc. to analyze and visualize data.
  • Monitor and analyze critical KPIs such as Retainability, Accessibility, Integrity, Mobility, HO optimization, and new feature activation.
  • Utilize data analytics tools such as Xynergy to gain insights from data.
  • Develop and maintain RF engineering and management reports using Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Develop database queries using Visual Basic to convert raw statistics into useful information.
  • Work with Microsoft computer applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook to create and manage documents and reports.
  • Develop and maintain AMOS scripts to support network maintenance, expansion, layer management, and IRAT configurations.
  • Use RF predictive tools such as ATOLL/Planet to predict and optimize network performance.
  • Develop and maintain query and template creation for LTE/VoLTE KPI's using Ericsson BO.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Electronics and Telecommunications with technical training or equivalent work experience.
