Switchboard Coordinator

TMPC, Inc. is seeking a skilled Switchboard Operator to join our team. As a key member of our 24-hour department, you will be responsible for answering and directing incoming calls to the proper departments, monitoring code blue, fire, and gas alarm panels, and alerting staff of emergency codes via paging systems and overhead announcements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the correct departments
- Monitor and respond to emergency codes and alarm panels
- Alert staff of emergency situations via paging systems and overhead announcements
- Document and log all codes and call activity daily
Work Environment:
The switchboard is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. As a Switchboard Operator, you will work in a team-oriented setting, rotating shifts and holidays to accommodate staffing needs.
