Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional care to patients and conducting nutrition assessments. Your expertise will help patients achieve optimal health outcomes, and your passion for delivering exceptional care will make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and provide nutritional care to patients
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans
  • Offer education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a related field
  • Alaska Dietitian License or Alaska Nutritionist License within 6 months of hire
  • National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Dietetics or nutrition science
  • 2 years of hospital inpatient experience
  • Experience working with adult/geriatric populations
