Radiation Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at HealthCare Support. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients, applying ionizing radiation to tumors as prescribed by physicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply ionizing radiation to patients as prescribed by physicians
  • Follow departmental standards, state guidelines, and company policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the organizational plan of the Radiation Oncology Unit
  • Enhance the quality of patient care while supporting the institutional philosophy

Requirements:

  • ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy
  • Associate of Science in Radiation Therapy or Associate in Radiologic Science with Radiation Therapy Certification
  • Possess a basic understanding of Radiation Oncology technical and theoretical components
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
