- Conduct tests to ensure systems and components are secure and functioning correctly.
- Identify systems or components that may have caused issues.
- Test drive vehicles to assess performance and check fluid levels.
- Verify tire pressure and maintain cleanliness and lubrication of fittings.
- Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to team members.
- Maintain high efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Proactively repair or replace worn parts to prevent breakdowns.
- Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks.
- Strong knowledge of automobiles with quick diagnostic skills.
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities with a desire for improvement.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
- Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic tools.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- ASE Certification or Technical Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a service department.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
