About the Role

The Medical Support Professional will play a vital role in supporting the healthcare team at USA Clinics Group. This Part-Time position works Sunday, Monday and Friday, with an opportunity to become full-time five days in December.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms, assist with form completion as necessary.
  • Familiarize yourself with clinic computer hardware and software, utilizing it according to company policies.
  • Answer multi-line and multi-language telephone lines, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, including transportation arrangements, rescheduling, and eligibility verification.
  • Contact insurance companies to verify patient eligibility.
  • Perform various clerical tasks as needed, such as copying, filing, faxing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure patient needs are met by answering questions and providing support throughout their visit.
  • Maintain procedure rooms, ensuring they are clean and ready for use at all times.
  • Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures, following instructions and individual doctor preferences.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, clean up afterwards, and provide post-procedure instructions and medication information as needed.
  • Monitor supply levels, replacing them as necessary.
  • Train new staff members as required.
  • Collaborate with ultrasound staff as needed.
  • Transport supplies or equipment when necessary.
  • Work overtime as required and perform additional duties assigned.
