Product Owner II

At American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities, we're dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and their families. As a Product Owner II, you'll play a critical role in leading a product team that manages financial ERP systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, ensuring seamless collaboration with upper management and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a product team to manage financial ERP systems, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate with upper management and key stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and backlog.
- Develop and maintain product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure product quality, security, and design.
- Communicate product features and benefits to internal and external audiences, using business language to translate technical jargon.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Development, or a related field, with 6-8 years of information technology experience.
- Agile Product Owner certification or equivalent preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience with ERP financial systems, preferably Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Basic knowledge of accounting discipline and financial processes.
- Experience with third-party databases, libraries, interfaces, and internet protocols.
- Proficiency with software engineering and related tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.
- Ability to facilitate and resolve disagreements over scope, design, and requirements.
- Knowledge of hardware, software, and network setup and troubleshooting.
- Ability to articulate marketing and IT needs/issues to all groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of iterative/agile development and customer-centric design.
