Job Description
Cyber Security Engineer
Location: Uncasville, CT (Hybrid)

As a Cyber Security Engineer at ConsultNet, you will be responsible for protecting our clients' information systems assets by developing and implementing comprehensive security plans. You will work closely with our IT team to design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication, and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security.

Your duties will include:
• Providing guidance and direction for the protection of information systems assets to other functional units through a structured security review process.
• Implementing and maintaining security tools and platforms such as Secure Service Edge (SSE), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Access Management (IAM), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Security Awareness Training portals.
• Designing, documenting, testing, maintaining, and providing issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication, and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security.
• Engaging with key stakeholders cross-functionally to uncover gaps and blind spots, then remediate those with improved strategies, processes, and controls.
• Collaborating with systems engineers, network engineers, and software developers to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
