Job Overview:

This position plays a vital role in spearheading and facilitating initiatives aimed at continuous quality enhancement throughout our operational processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with diverse teams to pinpoint areas for process refinement, lead analytical problem-solving activities, and apply industry best practices to elevate product quality and operational effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Quality Enhancement:
    • Drive and oversee continuous improvement projects within the Quality Assurance division.
    • Identify, assess, and execute process enhancements to improve product quality and minimize defects.
    • Employ Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality enhancement methodologies to optimize workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Quality Assurance Collaboration:
    • Partner with Quality Assurance teams to design and enhance quality control processes and protocols.
    • Perform root cause analysis for quality-related challenges and formulate corrective measures.
    • Support the development and execution of quality management systems (QMS).
  • Data Analysis and Insights:
    • Gather and scrutinize quality data to uncover trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
    • Compile and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) linked to quality enhancement initiatives.
    • Evaluate the success of implemented solutions and propose further enhancements.
  • Training and Development:
    • Deliver training and guidance to personnel on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
    • Create and present training materials focused on quality enhancement methodologies.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
    • Engage closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure cohesive efforts on quality enhancement initiatives.
    • Participate in cross-departmental teams to tackle quality challenges and boost overall product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or continuous improvement roles.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
    • Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
    • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).

Additional Requirements:

  • Capability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards or other relevant quality standards is advantageous.
