**About the Department**
The Department of Women's Studies at San Diego State University is seeking qualified candidates for its part-time lecturer pool. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment and welcome applications from prospective temporary faculty with expertise or experience in teaching courses in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
Course Offerings
The Department offers a variety of courses within the field, including:
- WMNST 101: Exploring Gender, Self, and Identity
- WMNST 102: Women: Images and Ideas
- WMNST 103: Women and Global Justice
- WMNST 336: Women of Color in the US
- WMNST 341A: Women in American History: From Colonization to 1860
- WMNST 341B: Women in American History: From 1860 to the Present
- WMNST 352: Women in Literature
- WMNST 360: Women's Sexuality and the Body
- WMNST 370: Women Law and Policy
- WMNST 382: Gender, Science, and Technology
Qualifications and Responsibilities
At minimum, a graduate degree in women's, gender, and sexuality studies or a related field is required. University teaching experience and experience in individualized instruction from an intersectional and/or transnational perspective are highly valued.

- A relevant syllabus for a course that they have already taught
Initial rank and salary for lecturer faculty are based on professional experience and educational background and are determined by the hiring department.
