Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Earlton, NY.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care in the Surgery Administration department, working collaboratively with the attending physician and other healthcare providers to deliver family-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments, complete physical examinations, and collect clinical data, including vital signs and medical laboratory test results.
  • Diagnose medical conditions, administer medications, and perform minor surgery as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring effective treatment and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient processing, treatment, and discharge.
  • Act as a resource and mentor to new staff and physician assistant students.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
  • Successful completion of ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
