Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Earlton, NY.
Job Summary:The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care in the Surgery Administration department, working collaboratively with the attending physician and other healthcare providers to deliver family-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments, complete physical examinations, and collect clinical data, including vital signs and medical laboratory test results.
- Diagnose medical conditions, administer medications, and perform minor surgery as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring effective treatment and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient processing, treatment, and discharge.
- Act as a resource and mentor to new staff and physician assistant students.
- Master's degree in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
- Successful completion of ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
