- Logging work/rest periods and mileage; retaining fuel and toll receipts for reimbursement.
- Promptly reporting defects, accidents, or violations to management.
- Planning and executing routes using GPS or AVL technology.
- Maintaining a timely schedule while communicating effectively with management.
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Performing miscellaneous tasks related to yard maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Class A CDL with no expiration.
- Clean driving record with a motor vehicle record submission.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol testing.
- Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Preferred experience of at least 6 months in Over The Road (OTR) driving.
