Respiratory Care Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Eisenhower Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care to meet their respiratory care requirements.
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and other equipment as needed.
- Perform routine respiratory care procedures, such as bronchoscopy, trans-tracheal oxygenation, and other procedures as required.
- Document patient care and treatment in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in performance improvement and quality assessment activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate from an AMA, CoARC, or JRCRTE-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Current and valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license from the Respiratory Care Board of California.
- American Heart Association ACLS and PALS certification (if hired after March 1, 2018).
- Minimum two years of experience in an acute care facility (preferred).
