Safety and Teamwork are Key to Success at BURNCO Rock Products Ltd.

We are seeking an experienced Mixer Driver to join our team at our Denver Plant.

As a Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for operating a ready-mix truck in urban areas and tight construction sites.

Responsibilities:

* Operate a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently
* Perform routine equipment maintenance
* Contribute to keeping locations in and around the plant clean and hazardous-free
* Understand and foster a safety culture
* Safely drive and obey all traffic laws
* Maintain and clean the truck
* Learn and execute company safety protocols

Requirements:

* Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
* Clean driver's abstract and record
* Concrete mixer truck experience considered an asset
* Understanding of concrete products
* Standard or manual transmission experience
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and be available on short notice
* Pass pre-employment testing

Physical Requirements:

* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly outside and exposed to various weather conditions.
* Employee constantly uses eye/hand coordination and near/far vision.
* Employee frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, bends, reaches, lifts to 50 lbs, carries up to 50 lbs, utilizes manual dexterity, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, color discernment, and requires active hearing/listening.
* Employee is exposed to loud noises, heavy machinery, moving equipment, oil, debris, solvents, smokes, gasses, fumes, and aggregate materials.
* Required PPE includes safety shoes above ankles, safety vests, safety glasses, ear plugs, and hard hats.
