Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to join our team at Agri-Fab, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating semi-automatic MIG welding equipment to weld or join metal components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and daily safety checks as prescribed.
  • Operate automatic welding machines and use basic hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Visually inspect products for defects and errors.
  • Make simple repairs to non-conforming products.
  • Load, unload, and adjust placement of material and work pieces in the machine.
  • Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating.
  • Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
Requirements
  • Must meet the following requirements:
  • Comply with all rules and regulations of Agri-Fab, Inc. and actively contribute to workplace safety.
  • Interact in a positive and cooperative manner in all dealings with co-workers and management.
  • Actively participate in training and stay current with required annual safety training.
  • Support manufacturing improvement programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic welding test to AWS-D14.3 (JDV20.1)
  • Measuring and mathematical skills, including accurately adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
  • Language skills, including effectively communicating with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Basic reasoning skills, including applying common sense when following written and oral instructions.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be subject to hot temperatures and may be exposed to loud working environments. Skin may be exposed to oils and/or coolant.
