At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance infrastructure for our in-house solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deploy distributed systems
  • Develop and implement automation tools to streamline deployment and management processes
  • Work closely with software engineers to create highly scalable and maintainable products
  • Ensure compliance with DevSecOps best practices and security requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or 5+ years of professional experience in software, DevOps, or site reliability engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux operating systems
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and DevOps tools
  • Active Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret SCI clearance; or ability and willingness to obtain
Preferred Skills:
  • 5+ years of systems administration, site reliability engineering, or DevOps experience
  • Strong understanding of message queue technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and virtualization technologies
  • Experience with identity management and authentication protocols
  • Focus on performance bottlenecks and performance improvement techniques
