Health Advocates Network is actively seeking a Clinical Psychiatrist to join our team in a rewarding role. This position is part of our registry offerings, providing flexibility and opportunity for professionals in the mental health field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations, treatment, and documentation for assigned psychiatric patients consistently, adhering to established policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Provide accurate diagnoses following assessments; prescribe necessary medications; and monitor patient progress, including lab results and special procedures, ensuring appropriate follow-up or referrals.
- Prepare and dictate admission and discharge summaries along with other essential documentation.
- Engage with patients' families, authorized representatives, or healthcare proxies to update them on the patient's condition, changes in status, and treatment plans, while encouraging their involvement in the treatment process.
- Collaborate with community psychiatrists as needed to enhance patient care, facilitate discharges, and address inquiries regarding patient management.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Psychiatrist within the last 3 years.
- Strong ability to establish rapport with patients.
- Capacity to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- A valid and current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Must possess up-to-date credentials in the state of California.
