Customer Service Supervisor
Purpose of the Role:
The client support specialist is responsible for: gathering patient demographic and insurance information, preparing items from stock to fulfill orders, assisting clients with large orders, managing phone inquiries, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor in all customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet clients in a professional manner while assessing their needs.
2. Direct scheduled clients to the appropriate staff member.
3. Collect demographic and insurance information for new clients and update existing accounts.
4. Process general retail sales orders, rental returns, and resupply orders.
5. Retrieve items to fulfill resupply orders.
6. Dispense resupply orders and obtain signatures for proof of dispense and assignment of benefits.
7. Assist clients in locating items on the sales floor.
8. Respond promptly to all requests.
9. Demonstrate a willingness to assist clients.
10. Redirect inquiries to the appropriate staff when necessary.
11. Utilize professional skills when handling calls and inquiries from clients and colleagues.
12. Ensure closing procedures are followed, including securing doors and safely storing funds during non-business hours.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma preferred, not required.
Experience:
Previous customer service experience preferred, not required.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with an Internet-based computer program; enjoys a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions; must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor both in person and over the phone in stressful situations; adaptable to varying workflows and responsibilities.
Must demonstrate initiative and sound judgment; fosters positive working relationships among colleagues through expressions of appreciation; collaborates effectively and promotes a spirit of cooperation; disciplined in actively listening to clients' needs and takes responsibility to address those needs.
