Position Overview

The role of a Travel CT Technologist involves providing high-quality imaging services in various healthcare settings. This position is ideal for professionals who are adaptable and eager to work in diverse environments.

Certification Requirements
  • Essential Certifications: BLS, ARRT, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast
  • Additional Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, EFM, Tech Certification Verification, CEUs, State License Verification, NIH Stroke Certification
Job Responsibilities
  • Weekend Schedule: Friday to Sunday
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year; first-time travelers are welcome
  • Competency: Must be proficient in Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient imaging procedures.
  • Technical Duties: Responsibilities include initiating IVs for CT scans, conducting basic creatinine tests using ISTAT equipment, and obtaining patient consent for contrast studies.
  • Operational Tasks: Technologists will perform scanning, manage injectors, and assist in patient positioning for various imaging studies.
  • System Proficiency: Familiarity with Epic and PACS systems is expected.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to float between departments and work during major holidays is required.
  • Compliance: Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to ensure timely start dates; non-compliance may result in delays.
Work Schedule
  • Weekend Block: Friday to Sunday
  • Time Off: Maximum of 7 days RTO
  • Holiday Work: Expected to work during 2 out of 3 major holidays if required.
Additional Information

Compliance with all onboarding requirements is crucial for a timely start. Delays in compliance may lead to a two-week postponement due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
