The Providence Virtual Care and Digital Health group seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for consultation-liaison work. This telehealth position allows you to work from home, hired out of Everett, Washington, with the flexibility to work remotely within 36 US states.

Responsibilities
  • You will use video technology to diagnose and treat patients with behavioral disorders in emergency departments and inpatient medical/surgical units across multiple hospitals in Providence Telehealth's coverage footprint.
  • This role offers opportunities to diversify your work portfolio as the program expands to include other inpatient/outpatient settings, depending on your interest.
  • Standard shifts are 12 hours in length; potential opportunities for partial shifts also exist.
  • Your ability to work well with a team is critical to success, given that psychiatrists collaborate with a team of psychiatrists and clinical social workers on shift.
  • Two or more years' experience is required.
  • Experience providing psychiatric consultation-liaison services to medical/surgical inpatients and emergency departments is essential.
  • Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is preferred.
  • Telemedicine experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Compensation is $1,788 per 12-hour shift.
