Palm Health Resources is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to collaborate with our dynamic Cardiothoracic Surgical team in Mason, City, IA. This esteemed position offers an opportunity to be part of a cohesive unit that prioritizes teamwork and collective responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assisting with CABG procedures, including endoscopic vein harvesting, valves, minimally invasive surgeries, TAVRS, thoracic, and esophageal surgery. They will also provide post-operative care and preoperative assessments, working under the supervision of a Medical/Surgical physician. This role allows for a full continuum of care, focusing on various cardiac surgery cases such as TAVRS, CABGs, Off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery, Valve repair or replacement, and more.

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess endoscopic Vein Harvesting and cardiac surgery first-assisting experience. They should also expect to spend approximately 50-60% of their time in the operating room, collaborating with our program.
