Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Sprinkler System Compliance Specialist to ensure the safety and reliability of fire protection systems. This role involves conducting thorough inspections of sprinkler systems, including testing devices, documenting findings, and generating comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct timely and accurate inspections of building sprinkler systems.
  • Test all control panels, devices, and functions of the sprinkler systems, recording results using advanced handheld technology.
  • Compile and generate detailed Sprinkler Inspection Reports upon completion of inspections.
  • Assist the Lead Inspector and Inspection Manager in data collection and paperwork generation.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss findings and improvements.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will possess a college degree; however, a high school diploma or equivalent experience is acceptable. Candidates should also have NICET Level II certification and a solid understanding of NFPA standards related to fire protection system inspection and testing.

Skills Required:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and networking PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires working in various building environments, often involving moderate to high noise levels and tasks that may require working at heights. Candidates should be prepared for a physically demanding role that includes standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
