A leading consumer marketplace is seeking a Mobile Front End Developer to collaborate with the Design Engineering team on their Voice Assistant initiative. This position involves the design, construction, and maintenance of mobile application code while adhering to hardware limitations, utilizing JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and native Android/iOS programming languages.

This role presents an opportunity for a skilled front-end developer to contribute to the advancement of voice-activated virtual assistants. The position is structured as a 6-month, W2 contract, offering competitive benefits and the possibility of extension or transition to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of mobile application code and tools at the device level.
  • Develop code with consideration for test devices, hardware limitations, and platform-specific modifications.
  • Collaborate with internal design and engineering teams.
  • Collect user requirements to outline project roadmaps.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and developing mobile applications.
  • Strong front-end expertise with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Native Android (NDK)/iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
