Coverage Details:
This role is intended to supplement existing staff.

Coverage Type:
Clinical responsibilities along with on-call duties.

Shift Details:
Day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM with on-call responsibilities from 7 PM to 7 AM.

On-Call Information:
Beeper system with a response time of 30 minutes.

Procedural Responsibilities:
  • Umbilical Arterial Catheterization
  • Umbilical Venous Catheterization
  • Needle Aspiration for Chest Procedures
  • Needle Aspiration Insertion
  • PICC Line Placement
  • Peripheral Arterial Catheterization
  • Lumbar Puncture
  • Retcam RCP Examination

Key Duties:
  • Serve as the primary contact for the Neonatologist.
  • Provide coverage for emergency situations in the Family Birthing Center, C-Section Suites, and NICU.

Trauma Level:
II
