Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Therapy Program Development: Design and implement individualized therapy programs to address student needs and goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure effective communication and support student progress.
  • Documentation and Monitoring: Document and monitor student performance and therapy outcomes to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Pennsylvania SLP licensure required.
  • Certification: ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
