- Collaborate with fellow mechanics to address complex repair challenges.
- Conduct post-repair tests on equipment to verify successful resolution of issues.
- Engage with parts suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary components.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and advancements in heavy equipment repair.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Assist in inventory management as needed.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandated.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional training in heavy equipment or truck engine repair is preferred.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Possession of a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License is required (or must be obtained within one year of employment).
- Clean driving and criminal record is essential.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English is necessary.
- Must provide own basic hand tools for the role.

- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical standards.
- Frequent standing on concrete surfaces is required.
