Survey Party Chief

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Survey Party Chief to join our Survey Team based at our Norwell, MA office location. As a key member of our team, you will play a major role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Lead and manage survey teams on transportation, utility, and civil site projects
• Interface with field crews and office staff to ensure seamless project execution
• Develop and implement survey plans and procedures to ensure accuracy and precision
• Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

• High school diploma required; A.A.S. and/or B.S. degree preferred
• NSPS-CST Level II certification preferred; LSIT preferred
• Valid US drivers license required
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience is required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office is preferred
• Knowledge of AutoCAD design software & MicroStation software is preferred
• Demonstrates a good knowledge about the surveying industry
• Must be able to carry equipment over rough, uneven terrain, and physically navigate varying field conditions
• Ability to travel short-term is required
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions required
• Ability to represent him/herself and the company in a professional manner to the general public
