Anesthesiology Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Galesburg, IL. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The typical day involves running 4 operating rooms, often until 3:00 PM, and providing anesthesia for a variety of procedures including OB, ortho, podiatry, endoscopy (as needed), and urology. As a Locums CRNA, you will work in collaboration with the anesthesia team to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during various surgical procedures
• Manage airway maintenance and provide post-anesthesia care to ensure patient recovery

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible CRNA
• IL State License required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS

Compensation
