Plant Engineering Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineering Manager to lead our engineering, maintenance, and facilities team at our Quitman facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving KPIs for safety, quality, production, and efficiency, managing maintenance plans, troubleshooting equipment, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance and engineering projects
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and engineering projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 7+ years of experience in engineering, facilities, and/or machinery maintenance
  • 7+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of experience performing maintenance and equipment reliability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, facilities, machinery maintenance, and/or reliability
  • 5+ years of experience performing maintenance and equipment reliability
  • Experience managing multi-shift or continuous operations
  • Lean manufacturing experience
