Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to join our team. As a Life Enrichment Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing personalized life skills programs for our residents. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our seniors.
Responsibilities- Evaluate resident interests and involvement in life skills programs
- Develop and implement life skills programs tailored to each resident's unique needs and abilities
- Engage residents in life skills activities throughout the day and evening
- Maintain an inventory of life skills programming supplies
- Assist residents with daily care of animals and/or plants as part of the life skills program
- One year of experience working with memory impaired seniors
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification(s) may be required per state regulations
- Ability to motivate and encourage residents
- Knowledge of how to adapt life skills to the cognitive and functional ability of each resident
- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision
- Basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office
