Position Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Associate collaborates with the Breckenridge Mountain Dining team to manage the receipt and distribution of products for on-mountain dining facilities. This role emphasizes sustainability by ensuring proper waste management practices, including composting, recycling, and trash disposal, while assisting warehouse management to support resort operations.

Position Specifications:

  • Expected Pay: $20.00 / hour.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
  • Skill Level: Entry Level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with daily product intake from various suppliers while upholding warehouse organization standards.
  • Utilize procurement software for product reception and alert notifications.
  • Verify the accuracy of purchase orders against invoices.
  • Safely transport products to on-mountain dining locations, including perishable and non-perishable items, using snowcat vehicles.
  • Manage product and equipment transfers between mountain locations.
  • Organize and stock coolers and freezers efficiently.
  • Oversee the maintenance and safety of loading docks, freezers, and coolers, including daily waste cleanup.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while maintaining team standards.
  • Operate snowcat vehicles in challenging alpine conditions (training provided).
  • Conduct forklift operations.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail.

Sustainability Initiatives:

  • Conduct daily assessments of waste management needs for each mountaintop dining facility.
  • Collaborate with the C2Z team to implement effective waste management and recycling programs.
  • Promote the growth of Commitment to Zero initiatives and enhance awareness of sustainability efforts through employee education.
  • Provide guidance and management for waste streams at restaurant loading docks.
  • Safely transport compost, trash, and recycling from mountaintop locations to the base area.
  • Encourage sustainability practices within the team by adhering to C2Z guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work outdoors in dark, high-altitude winter conditions (uniform provided).
  • Demonstrate accountability for assigned responsibilities and tasks.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Operational knowledge of resort-based food and beverage services.
  • Position is seasonal in nature.

The expected pay range is $20.00. This reflects the compensation we anticipate for this role, with individual pay decisions based on various factors.
