Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's Blount. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with respiratory insufficiencies.

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, including the use of advanced respiratory care modalities.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in code blue responses.

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy.
• Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
