Ecoat Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecoat Technician to join our team at Ventra Group. As an Ecoat Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the E-Coat Department, ensuring customer requirements are met while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily tank maintenance and testing, including fixing spray nozzles and plumbing, draining and cleaning tanks, measuring and adjusting tank chemistry, and recording data.
- Maintain the performance and integrity of the paint line process, ensuring each stage of the process meets specific chemical requirements.
- Monitor equipment for process parameters, including temperature, pressure, flow, and conduct chemical titrations to test chemical baths and add chemicals as needed.
- Remove and replace or clean sock and plate filters daily, and manage tank pump outs and cleanings during production downtime events.
- Identify and troubleshoot quality defects on parts, and assist in spare parts and chemical inventory management.
- Operate a HiLo and empty sledge hopper, and replace chemical totes.
- 2-year associate degree or training equivalent in a related field and 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience in an industrial setting working with fluids, cleaning tanks, and plumbing.
- Aptitude for measuring and collecting data, and using a computer.
- Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting skills, and contractor experience working with plumbing and electrical systems.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, and willingness to work in confined spaces.
- Overtime as required, and ability to work various shifts, including unsupervised work.
