Primary Care Physician Assistant

Archway Physician Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
• Create ongoing relationships with patients by taking complete medical histories, performing physical exams, and making assessments and diagnoses.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions in the electronic medical record.
• Manage stable phases of chronic illnesses in consultation with attending physicians or medical directors as needed.
• Order and interpret laboratory reports and diagnostic imaging reports.
• Provide prenatal care, including managing uncomplicated pregnancies and postpartum follow-up for mothers and children.
• Assess mental health needs and provide treatment as necessary.
• Coordinate healthcare management with physicians and other agencies.
• Ensure quality and safety through care planning, evidence-based medicine, and active patient participation in decision-making.
Requirements:
• Current unrestricted California license as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife.
• At least two years of experience in a community health center setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently with physician telephone backup.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (speak, read, and write) preferred.
• Knowledge of compliance issues within the community clinic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be sensitive to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequently required to use standard office equipment, access information from a computer, and communicate effectively with others.
