Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Essentia Health-Fargo hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing therapy services to patients of all ages, including evaluation and assessment, treatment, education, and consultation to improve patients' abilities to their highest possible level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including post-surgical orthopedic conditions, cardiac, GI, and traumas.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current North Dakota State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good critical thinking skills and a hardworking, team player attitude.
